Why is my balance is different in TB than in DBO?
1. Continous mode was off One possibility is that in DBO, you had continuous mode on, and left over balance was set to zero regularly.
TB doesn't have this setting. So the excess money that was set to zero in Daily Budget is added back to your balance. You can check this by going to DBO, and turning on the continuous mode. (Settings > Advanced >Cycle settings)
2. Separate wallets
If you had a gap in DBO, a period when you didn't use the app, or more than one cycle settings over time, TB creates a separate budget for each.
In TB, you pick one wallet and you see the balance of that wallet. In DBO, you see the cumulative balance of all cycle settings together. This results in a different balance in two apps.
If these still do not answer your question, please send a screenshot of cycle setting and we can troubleshoot further.

You could: (1) combine these cycles in Daily Budget, (2) make a new backup file, (3) then import the backup file again.
That way, all data will be in one wallet. You can combine all the cycles in DBO by deleting earlier cycle settings, and then moving back the start date of the latest cycle setting to include the earlier dates.
Deleting a cycle setting doesn't delete the transactions underneath. It works like curtains. You can see dates and transactions of the days where the curtains are open. (If this makes any sense).
Important: File name When you import the backup file again, please make sure that the file name is "DailyBudgetBackup2.sqlite", and not like "DailyBudgetBackup2-2.sqlite" or some other name.
Important: Cycle duration Combining cycle settings might change your balance if you had entries that were repeating per cycle, and varying cycle durations. If you overwrite cycle duration, then the daily amount will change. If you had entries that were repeating weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc, or simply with start and end date, then there is nothing to worry about.
If there was a pause in cycle setting, or if there are several cycle settings, then the data is saved into separate wallets.
All my entries are duplicated
This is a known issue, and we are currently investigating it.
We know that creating a new backup file in DBO, and importing it again in TB resolves this issue.
Please uninstall the app, and install it fresh from the App Store. What is happening: iOS detects any app that is taking up a lot of iCloud resources, because it can interfere with other apps. When you imported (or deleted) wallets with lots of data, this change was synced to iCloud, and led to high amounts of data I/O. iOS most likely detected this and throttled the app's communication with iCloud. We know a fresh install can solve this issue.
When you install the app again and open the app, please keep it open until the iCloud status is green checkmark.
iCloud is working so long
Please keep the app open with good WiFi until there is a green checkmark at the iCloud status.
Roughly speaking it takes a few minutes / 1000 entries . Sometimes it jumps back and forth. The file itself is not that big, but iCloud generates an entry in iCloud for each of your entries. This makes the process drag on because each entry is uploaded individually. You can of course close the app if it takes you too long. The next time you start the app, the synchronization will continue.
This initial iCloud sync establishment has to only happen onc. After that, the synchronization is fast and stable.
